More to the point was what didn't we like. This place was wonderful and Donatella and her staff treated us like family. The room was large, clean and beautifully appointed. We had a terrace overlooking a creek. Donatella gave us great suggestions for dinner and the town is wonderful. Breakfast was enjoyable and the pool and laundry facilities were a perk since we were traveling for an extended time. We will return!!!!

Molino della Lodola is a comfortable and attractive Tuscan countryside experience and the staff are very kind. It is situated in a handy position to the thermal spas and there are endless places of interest within easy driving distance.
We stayed at Molino della Lodola in autumn when the pool wasn't open and thus we weren't disturbed at all; however we noted traffic noise would spoil the peace by the pool in the summer season.

The location and the fact that they had apartments.
We had a booked an apartment as I was traveling with a female friend and needed to have separate sleeping areas. When we arrived we ask if we could use the sofa bed and was there any additional bedding. We were told that to have additional bedding to use the sofa bed we need to pay an extra 80 Euros (the price of the hotel was 110 Euros a night). The condition of booking clearly stated that or 20 Euros extra bed could be provided.
